This guy is Ramon Gandia. He's an Irod Dog racer up here in AK that did this on a practice run on 1-10-06.

if you notice his helmet it's sitting on top of the drift the he nose dived off of. Looks like he didn't see the drop off and tried to hit his brakes. So yes the drift if holding it up in the air.

I have never gotten stuck personally, but I'm sure if I tried to break a trail with the tired old JD that I'd be stuck for sure. We'll how she does with a new belt. I hear that breaking trail is hard on your belt and clutch. Any opinions on the matter at hand?

its no harder on it than any other riding unless...
you get stuck and nail it and flat spot the belt

OK, I just wasn't sure. With my sled you cant whomp on it because something is wrong with it. You have to really feather it and get it to 5500, and then she'll start to move at least lol. 0-15 is slow, but after 15 she goes like hell until 50. But for some reason that's all I get. Any opinions? Carbs were just cleaned, so I'm hoping I just need a belt. And when you hit 50 you can only give it like 1/4 throttle or else it will bog and slow down.

Well the sled itself only has 1250 miles on it. So 1250 miles on the clutch. Any clues would be appreciated. I'm leaving to go riding tomorrow.

Well, should have tons of pics of us getting stuck fer ya in a week.Goin' up to French River,Ontario for a spell and have been told it's averagin' 4 ft deep.Bone dry here in Cleveland and haven't ridin' yet this season.Should be some sort of initiation.River's real slushy;never froze proper,so it'll be hairy.Said it'l be fine as long as we keep movin'.
Goin' to wish we had long tracks,me thinks

you can't always climb as high as you want too. And in this case that was as far as she would go.
