Well, it's not technically a "judge". It's really only a host to accept the submissions and compile them into one thread with a poll to see who wins. (if anybody was confused)

The pic would obviously have to be from this year and preference would also have to be given to pics with snow in them

ohhh. Of course this is brought up again. No fault to you sir, but the original organizer of this program has gone missing this year. We didn't have any SOTM elections this year. This thread also brought up that we should get at least a Sled of the year going, but again nothing happened.

Not many active users this time of year. Just the good 'ole faithful crowd.

Welcome to the forum though! Anything you need help with?

That reminds me, I need to shut down submissions on a GTO forum. Then I get to start a poll and let the members vote for their favorite. Not sure how I got roped into it. I guess I just ran with the ball.... That's what we need here, someone to pick up the ball and run!!!

Usually, a contest like SOTM is run by the Mods. Becaaaause, what I end up doing is copying all the submission posts(from one thread) into another poll thread(after a set monthly submission deadine). Us regular members don't have that capability.... Then let the members vote for their favorite ride(with a voting deadline). The winner then get's a pic of their ride posted on the home page. And, they get a shot at winning a free oil change provided by one of the site sponsors. Just an FYI.....

Here they had it set up where you'd email your submissions to a person who would organize together the whole thing. But I bet yours is easier.

It is pretty easy. Also, by using multiple threads, I don't have to keep a bunch of pix on my hard drive..... But, there's more than one way to skin a cat.....
