Better late than never...attached are photos and mini bios of the SOTM nominees for November 2006. Members are encouraged to vote for who they like. The winner will be decided by the members of SF.com at the end of the poll.

1999 ski-doo mxz 600
Hometown: Campton, New Hampshire
Favorite place to ride: Where ever i can

Mods: yellow light cover, yellow windshield, yellow ski loops, yellow mudflap, 96 studs, some stickers

1993 Arctic Cat Wildcat 700 EFI

Location: groton ny

Ride: eastern fingerlakes region
tompkins co and surrounding area

Mods: The sled has carbides and a new 1 in lug track and the suspension has been adjsted for maximum weight transfer and smooth ride.I had to replace the original clutch with a comet 108 with OEM setup. top speed 110 mph

Freakshow12

2005 mach z 1000.

Location: melfort saskatchewan canada

Ride: All over sask,alberta and manitoba.

mods:
color changing painted accessories(screens,ski loops,guage bezels) goes from purple,green,blue,redish gold.
mountian machines billet wheels (first set ever for SC4 suspension)
billet pull handle
screen prefilter lit
summit windshield for cold days
blue headlights
J hooks
1.75 track
27/49 renegade gearing (tensioner etc)
cudney trail domes
plugged decomp ports
bikeman pipe mod, can coming
clutching by chris bondi
modified sdi computer(worked long on this so NO details)
aprox 190+ HP (based on other sleds with identical combo

runs 109-111 in 1000 ft on snow.
been to 128 on speedo(it was dead on in 1000ft to gun so its close)
2500 trouble free miles so far

Location: Northeast Ohio

Where you ride: Usually northeast Ohio but not this year!French River bush,Ontario

Sled Mods:96 studs,6" carbides,digital EGT gauges,wedge seat riser,low windshield,and front shock covers, skid plate.

voted. and NOT for myself! LOL am I sportsman like or what. nice machines guys and thanks for setting it up again this year.I also noticed when it closes. someone will get a little something for christmas for all the hard work keeping these things nice.

Why are you still running metal skis? Want to keep original
or just satisfied with them? I hate metal skis. Replaced with plastic on all my older sleds- for me (with worn/bent skis) made big difference in handling/performance.

PS: Sled looks great. Wish mine looked so good.

OEM skis. I had skins and they got all tore up when a skag broke. I didn't bother to replace them. I have not yet found a plastic ski that was suitable for the low snow conditions that we usually have.
