2002 MXZx 440

Hi guy's, I currentlly own a 1996 Arctic Cat ZRT 600 with Stinger's and some clutching, a 1998 Mach 1, a 1998 Mach Z 800 with a 925 big bore kit, a 2003 RX1 with clutching and 158 picks and a custom air brushing done on the hood, and a 2000 MXZ 700 Adreanline with tons of yellow accesories and clutching and an MBRP canister.... but i was wondering about a 2002 MXZx 440 racer.... are they nice trail riding sleds??? and are they any good for power??? Are they reliable??? and most importanly.....IS IT FAST??? cause im thinking of selling my 2000 MXZ for a 2002 MXZx 440 racer.... Tell me what u think and if u think this is a good decision.

well then you need a oil injection kit, and low comp heads. also mabye a 10 gallon gas tank of a MXZX, Im not 100% sure that 02s had a 5 gallon gas tank.

sesnopro said it about right. I was looking for an MXZX, but landed up buying an 02 MXZ 600. If you want to trail ride it, put the low compression heads on. An oil enjection kit would be nice unless you don't mind mixing the gas and oil. They come with a 5 gal. gas tank to minimize the weight for racing. With these changes, they are a good trail sled, and they are fast. Mainly they are set up as a race sled. Good luck.

That and if you don't mind a rough ride, the suspensions are definitely a race setup. But theyare cool sleds!

you also have to be real good at reading spark plugs to, Is not a big deal for racers cuz the support trailors have computers that calculate jetting.

My 02 440 has a 10 gal fuel tank which is good for about 8 hours of riding in the ditches. The suspension, I'm a bit bigger guy with some weight so if feels pretty nice to me but they are adjustable some or have them revalved to your suit. Mixing the gas, not a big deal with a ratio rite. About being fast and having power. Yes but it's still just a 440.
