Question Stator & Voltage Regulatpr

Help:

I have a 5 wire voltage regulator. They have 2 connectors. 1 connector has 2 yellows and 1 green and connects to the stator. The other connector has 1 black and 1 red/blue that goes under the engine. The wires that goe to the stator obviously has power from the stator - does that power flow through the other 2 wires (black & red/blue).

My problem is that the Black and red/blue wires has electricity coming into the voltage regulator is this normal....should there be power coming into the regulator from the stator as well as from under the engine?

Thank you.

Wish I could help you, but I can't find a wiring diagram online. Go to the dealer and ask to see the service manual. It has a diagram in it.
