As you know I have continued to have problems w/ my 98 GTSE. Tonight I tried unplugging my voltage regulator- this unit is a 5 wire. 1 Red w/ Blue Stripe, 1 Black, these 2 goe under the motor.

Then 2 yellow and 1 green which goes to the stator. Now when unplugging the Red/Blue and Black...the Red Blue was burnt at connection.
My question is why does my voltage regulator have 5 wires and where does the Red/Blue go...and what would make it fry at connection. My sled is a 1998 Grand Touring SE 700 w/ air suspension. Thanks for your help.
