136" extension
Hey guys,
i am interested in extending my mxz 500, it's a 99,
have any of u guys extended to 136? how much did it cost?
what parts would i need to buy to extend to 136" with 1.5" lugs? i want to know what it would cost without the track cuz i'm gonnna buy a used track and i've heard of salvadge yards havin em' for 100 bucks,

thanks,
i need to no some info about what track i need cuz i'm gonna start looking for a used track,
i'm gonna go with a 1.5 lug,by 136, and i need to no other stuff, like is my sled only capapble of one width track? should i just measure how wide my stock track is and bye that size? and what is the pitch of a track? i'm just trying to find out what stuff i need and if the pitch even matters,

pretty sure you have a 15 wide track, as for pitch it really doesnt matter. you will probly want some heavy springs.

does anybody know how big of a lug u can go on a skidoo without changing anything besides rails, tunnel? will a 1.5 fit?

pretty sure a 1.5 will fit, if not you will have to go down a tooth on your drivers.

did u use extensions or new rails?
how does a 136" ride compared to a 121"?

alot of the time 136s only come with a 1 inch track cuz there is more flotation, but Im pretty sure you want more. I have extended regular sleds before with extions and they work great. a 136 will be way better in the pow.

would a 136" cut down fuel economy alot?
i currently get 15,
would this make it drop to like 13 or something?
