1992 safari LCE steering problem

Hey all

I have a problem with steerings on my safari 462.8cc real crappy until im at high speed. When I was loading it up I notticed that the skis are toed out, figured that is the problem. I also notited that the sled's front and rear shocks are shot wondering if that could be a problem or if there just for a smoother ride.

So my qustion is are my towed out skis the reason for my crappy sterring? Or is the machane just heavy?
Also should I replace my shocks?

Their supposed to be towed out. Im guessing if its just at low speed your ski pressure is too high, from like say worn out front shocks, to tight on your limiter strap or even just too much preload on your front shock's if their adjustable shocks.

Replace the front shocks and see if that helps.

Should I replace the back shocks as well?

I think it's a little to much towed out.

You only want a toe out of about an eighth of an inch. You can replace your back shock too but it won't effect your steering much.
