1997 MXZ 440 Tunnel bearing question

Ok guys I have the 97 440 mxz fan. Problem is when im driving it runs great no issues.. When i let off throttle is slows down quick, as if its dragging somewhere. With machine jacked up the track turns no problem. The brake is not dragging. I dont hear any whirring like bad bearings in the tunnel... Any advice would be great...

Sounds to me like you have a clutching issue. Have cleaned the clutches on this sled? Due to the age, It would be a place to start if you haven't.

It's supposed to do that, it's called back shift.

If a bearing was going, you'd know it. Is the track adjusted correctly? If it's too tight, it would slow faster than normal.
