Hi all,
my buddy just picked up a 1988 skidoo safari voyager? Not sure if thats the correct name for it but hopefully someone knows what im taking about. He asked me to do some work on it. It hasnt run in 8 years but started first pull. My plan is to clean the carbs and redo the fuel system, change plugs and oil. When i was over, i tried to get it to move and it would rev up and move a couple feet then stop. I got it on the snow and the same problem happened. Could redoing the fuel system, cleaning the carbs and changing the belt to a new one solve that problem? I lifted up the track and gave it full throttle and the track spun freely like it should. Seems like whenever there is resistance it doesnt want to move. Any ideas outside of what i mentioned?

It probably fouled a plug. Do what you said above and give it a try.
