1999 Formula S 380 Not starting???

Given to my Son for christmas just started it yesterday. Couple of pulls and it was good to go. Ran great drove it around the yard for awhile and parked it. Took it out again today couple pulls ran great oil light came on so I stopped and shut it down. Filled with oil and now I can't get it to start???? Is there something I'm missing? Key is on, red kill switch is up or out. Just can't get it to fire. Tried for a half hour and gave up. Any help would be great Thanks

try an make sure you have spark. take out the spark plugs to see if they are wet. this will tell you they are not fireing or its flooded. if they are wet dry them off. now pull the machine over a few times with them out. this helps to clear out the base of the motor, gas will collect there. now lay the plug/plugs on the cyl head. pull over and observe for spark. you should be able to hear it too. it should be a blue/white spark. if they are dry then there is a fuel problem/not getting any. this should get you in the right dir. there is very good how to on here. i would read up. good luck.

It may indeed be flooded.

I let it sit overnight and will look into the flooding issue tomorrow. This one has a primer. When priming how many times should I pump it when first starting? I'll let you guys know how I make out.

Should only hit primer 2 to 3 times , if flooded peg the throttle keep it held and pull it 5 to 6 time without letting off throttle , should start.

I guess it was flooded. Went out today and it started right up. I did not prime it at all this time. I guess when I shut it down last time I primed it before trying to start it and that must have flooded it. I know now try to start if it doesn't I'll give it a pump. Thanks for all the advice!!
