02 mxz 600 not running right

I told my friend i would clean his carbs on his sled cause it wasnt running right and i cleaned the carbs they were pretty gummed up and found some cracks in the carb boots so i temperarily put gasket maker on them. i thought for sure the cracks were causing it but i put it all back together and still doesnt run right. it doesnt idle and has no power like it doesnt get into the powerband, it bogs. the reeds looked fine too. any ideas? wut is the idle screw supose to be set at? and any other adjustments on the carb please
oh and it only runs on half choke sorry for such a long explanation
thanks, will

Have you checked compression? Otherwise you have a fuel issue. Possibly pump diaphragm has a while in it.

Remove and clean the carbs again. There is a detailed tutorial in the how-to's section of this forum.
