I was wondering if I can run my sled without the silencer can, without doing damage to the engine?
If not, can it be punched out to make it sound better?

i cut mine apart took out all of the guts out of it welded in a baffle welded it back together sounds sweet and saved 20 pounds

Doing anything to the silencer will not affect performance. Removing completely could cause some back pressure issues
