mxz 670 suspension problem

I recently bought a 96 mxz 670 with a 136 track, I was ridding and something broke but I don't know what it is, the limit straps are tight and were not before and only the back of the track touches the ground and the front almost an inch off, the front shock touches the track on top and the bottom of the front shock is less then 1/4 inch close to the track, I am 16 and still learning about how to fix sleds, never had any suspension problems on a sled, anything could be helpful

Pics would help a ton especially up inside the skid.

Use this as a guide to look. Online microfiche. Put in your make and year, then click on the section you need to look at. Good job doing it yourself!

If the limiter straps are tight that would lead me to believe one of the shocks is busted, leaving the spring to expand to limiter strap limit? Place to start maybe

X2 on doing it yourself. Learn how to fix them yourself and you will make it an affordable sport! Be careful, it can become addicting to make 'em like new!
