You will need a clutch with the ring gear, a starter, battery, starter solenoid, and related harness and a key switch.

Better off selling the sled. Serious $$$ to get everything you need.

Well it's about 16 degrees right now and has been for over 24 hours just went out started the sleds because it's snowing and im impatient and anxious to ride but not stupid enough to go out yet and the skidoo mentioned above took me about 15 hard back wrenching pulls my Polaris in my profile pick took 2 easy one handed pulls so I realy need to find the parts to add a electric start can I get a list of exactly what I need and a estimate price?

Thanks guys really appreciate itAdding electric start to a 97 formula 3 800-imageuploadedbysnowmobile1353802383.953686.jpg

Most well tuned triples start with an easy half pull. You may wish to do some fuel or ignition maintenance. Hard starting will only lead to issues in the woods.

Does it have a primer or a choke? You're looking at about $1000 to get everything you need.
