hey guys, i got a 2000 mxzx 440 lc secondary clutch problem....

i took the clutch appart, for maintinance reasons and ive got a low end bog, and found that my rollers are all dented and it appears that they are riding all the way to the top of the helix ramp, to the end. this is obviously a problem. it looks like the washer under the snapring has worn into the face of the helix. can i add another washer to compensate?? also, my parts book for this sled says it should have a factory "tan" spring, but this looks like a dirty white. would i be better off getting a performance kit, with new helix and spring, maybee even for both clutches? or using original skidoo parts? i use this sled as a ditch banger. anyone recomend any specific aftermarket kits? thanks in advance!

See if you can find a used clutch on eBay or something for it. If there is that much wear, you might want to replace.

the clutch is actually in good shape, just needs rollers, bushings and maybee a helix.

They make a bunch of kits for MXZX sleds. Do a Yahoo search for "ski doo clutch kits" and see what pops up!
