Do they actually help? Not sure whether to get them or not?

well????
i had them on my gade, boots ripped, so
i put on my stock reeds & boots.
it really didnt made a big diff. just sounded
raspier? {spelling?} lol

but reeds help more, the more you do.
meaning, pipe, headwork, ect.

Reeds and pipes seem to be looked upon favorably. Do them together and roughly a 10% boost...maybe more.

With stock intake/exhaust, reeds won't be the limiting factor in air going through the engine. If you change out the pipe and port the case/cylinders to increase airflow through the engine, reeds show a greater benefit. It is up to you to determine if the amount gained is worth the bucks...

for the ridiculous amount they are asking for them, I would say no. It's not worth it. You would want to add a Pipe and Y pipe before going that far. A bondi air box is something to consider also.

Also- PLEASE invest in the correct clutching/gearing for each potential mod you do to the machine. You will always be looking for more until you actually get the power TO THE GROUND.
