With oil injection, most of the systems are desinged to fail with too much oil rather than ruining the engine with not enough. Possibly need to replace the oil pump or it could just be out of adjustment. I don't know the procedure for your particular sled but most have a mark on the arm where the cable from the throttle attaches to the pump that should be aligned with a mark on the pump body at idle. If this is set up right and you still have a fog machine then chances are that the pump is failing.

First thing to do is to determine if the oil/fuel ratio is actually off. Next ride, fill the gas and oil to the rim and then when you are done riding, measure exactly how much gas and oil you used. Then you will know the ratio. If the ratio is within normal specs (most would be 40:1 to 50:1) then changing the type of oil you are using may be a way to decrease smoke. The cheaper oils protect fine, but usually smoke a lot more than some of the more expensive oils.

If the oil ratio is less than 40:1, there should be an adjuster on the oil pump. You can also check for a bent or kinked oil cable or a lever on the oil pump that isn't working properly. Loosening the cable a bit will reduce the amount of oil. On most pumps, there will be indicator marks, one on the lever arm, one on the oil pump body. Those should be aligned at idle. If you do move the arm, go in very small increments. Too little oil can lead to scuffed piston/cylinder issues.
