i need help for carb tuning on my 1996 ski-doo touring le 440. i was wondering how far the screw (that changes the air-fuel mixture), should be out from the carb (how many turns from tight).

For my 2004 MXZ 600 HO the shop manual say 1.5 turns out.
I set mine to 2 full turns out though and it still seems like it may be a bit lean based on the color of the plugs. You should look in the tech specs in the shop manual for your sled: they will list that in the technical specifications section. I found my shop manual online and I an guessing you can as well.

You need to test and tune. Turn the screws and drive it. Look at the plugs and adjust accordingly.

alright sounds good. thanks guys. Another question however, how good of gas mileage (km per tank) should a 1996 440 touring le get??
