Exclamation 98 mxz 670 rotax won't start, after 5 mins off

I recently bought a 98 mxz 670 rotax for $1500 with 1600 miles. It ran fine for a week or two no problems. Then my exhaust can cracked I had it welded on the machine. Started first pull rode it home and rode it the next day fine too. Two days after being welded I drove it to the gas station to fill it with gas (premium). Started first pull leaving my place top end it seemed to bog a little. Got to the gas station, Shut it off, filled up, then put my gear on and attempted to start it. Wouldn't even seem like it would start. Was at the gas station for 3 hours changing spark plugs to BR8ES cause the plugs seemed fouled. Still won't start it seemed flooded. Put it in a truck and got it home. Let it sit without spark plugs in it for a day tried next day still wouldn't start. I have spark, compression, and fuel. Why could it not be starting? Fried or effed up cdi box?

Is it still flooding? Is fuel coming out of the spark plug holes?

Just pulled it a few times after the plugs being out for about 24 hours. Still spits a mist of gas without the plugs in. Put the plugs back in first pull backfired very loudly. I took plugs out to check them first plug good second plug there was gas streching between the two points where the spark jumps. I Blew the gas off stuck it in and tried to start it. It almost starts it does a few turns then stops every time after 20 mins I gave up.

it is still super flooded turn the fuel off if u have to pull the line going to the carbs and start a pulling contest over and over and over man then when u think u have pulled enough pull for another 5 mins or more. also i would possibly clean the carbs as something is causing a flooded engine ohh and i forgot try new plugs after u do all these steps

If the sled is flooded, disconnect the impulse line (black line between the fuel pump and the engine block), it should be over by the recoil started assembly. Pull line off, take plugs out and pull engine over. If you have fuel in the crank, you will see it spray out and as long as you have fuel in the crank, you will have spark, fuel & compression, but no combustion. The plugs will be super saturated with fuel. Pull engine over until or no fuel/mist comes out of impulse line connection on engine block. Replace/clean plugs.

Check carbs, floats & needle jest for proper operation (not stuck). A stuck float or needle jet will allow gas to get into crank.

Good luck

Yeah total is $409 I would be super excited but out in Midwest iowa right now all the snow is melting. I've already had to ride a sled to a show in another town almost got stuck many times cause the ditches were so soft but made it. It was like riding a jetski.
