Hi, I have a chance to buy 2 96 SL500's for $2000. They both have 1900 miles on them. Im looking for any info on this model i.e..Reliability, horsepower, etc.... Thanks Locky!!
I bought a used '96 Touring SLE 500 last year. It had about 4000 miles on it. First time I used it, the crank split in half about 1/2 hour into my ride. Dealer I bought it from fixed it no charge! Worked fine the rest of the season. Power from the 500 is nothing to write home about but it's fine for trail riding.
