What are the 2002 skidoo mxz 600's like?

Hello everyone on the site, im stil lfairly new in activity on this site but have a question about a black 2002 skidoo mxz 600 thats for sale near me 2300 km on it for $2100, immaculate condition completley stock no mods.

My question is what kind of sleds are these as reliability/fuel economy as well as enjoyment to ride, i been riding a older yamaha sled and thought its time to upgrade a little , any advice on what these sleds are like will be greatly apreciated and valued.

thanks for your time
Derek

Definitely a nice sled! They have good all around power, ride decent, probably gets the same as any other sled, somewhere around 12mpg. Those motors are pretty dependable too. Now is that 2100 Canadian money?

Thanks for the response and yes canadian dollars, seemed to be a decent price for a 2002 and reasonable km on it and i definatly like the fact that no one has modded it or had to go internally into it yet

Yea they're good sleds. Dependable and they ride nice with good power to boot. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Try talk him down to maybe $1800 and see if he takes it.

im not sure if you bought it or not....but i have the same thing but its an 01...i got almost same deal as you..the sled was immaculate with 2000 miles on it and zero modifications, it had never been rebuilt or anything. i have owned it for years now and i have never had a problem. they are NOT the best on gas but are a ton of fun and quick for 600s...since i have not had a problem in 6 years with pistons seizing or anything then i would say that they are reliable...good luck!!
