Clutch Questions

On my '96 580 Touring I notice that the machine will not take off like it used to. Lots of revs but it seems slower. Also at speed when I crack the throttle it is a similar condition. When I do ride double, its loaded to over 400lbs passanger weight. I have about 3000 miles on it and am the second owner.

Am I looking at a new clutch or could this be an adjustment.?What kind of cash for the part and labor?

Thanks in advance.

you may just want to replace the clutch springs if you never have.
