I can't seem to find any information on how much horse power my skidoos have. I bought one last spring (2002 Legend 700 GS (<1200 km)..has the power valves and DEM) and one this fall (2002 MXZ 500 Fan <1800 km...for my wife and son to drive). Trails are closed but should open soon...snowing this week with -30 the other night...anxious to pull the throttle. I just sold a couple of Arctic Cats, before that I drove Polaris.

Arctic Cat brochures list the approximate horsepower but skidoo doesn't. I was curious on what the skidoos would have for HP, especially the Legend.

Also, any insights (problems) to watch out for these sleds would be appreciated.

My uncle has the same legend, great sled, good speed, i got up to like 104, before i ran out of spacee

500 has about 60hp, that's what a dealer told me when I asked.
