Question 2000 Mxzx 440

i just blew the rings in my 440. The only rings i can find come directly from a skippy doo dealer and there $50 a piece + tax (which is now 9.75% in my county, thanks Hillary)

seems to me that since this is a 440 zx this problem is pretty common. Cuz this is allready the second set of rings ive gone through. Does anybody know of a company that makes aftermarket piston rings,or know of a place where i can get them for a lil cheaper than $50 a ring?

Thanks for your words of wisdom, very helpful, champ.....

If it still has the Ski Doo pistons in it, you need Ski Doo rings. If it has Wiseco, you need theirs, etc. Is it still stock?

You gotta love how these Arctic Scrappers cruise the Ski Doo forums. Just playing guys.

anywho, yeah, the 440 zx still has the stock Bomdardier rings and pistons. Are Wesico cheaper? cuz i need new pistons too. Possibly a new jug.

Wisecos are about $100 each with rings, pins and clips. Couldn't tell you the price of the jug.
