I am just doing some minor cleanup on my new sled. The hood cable was run from the belly to the headlight and bent the bottom of the light bracket. I nee some pics of how it should mount. I read the fiche and service manual but not really clear. It looks like both side srivet to the belly and then go to a spring which is attached to the crossbar on the hood. I am trying to find out where they are attached to the belly. Thanks

I believe there is a U hook on the exhaust that it hooks to, or in that area....

Yeah it goes from the light bracket to a spring running through some u hooks on my 583 exhaust if u want i can go take a picture of it tomarrow for you.

Yeah please if you can. But mine was attached to the light bracket but bent the sh*t out of it. So I dont think that is the right spot. In the microfiche it said from belly pan to spring off crossbar to belly pan.

sorry i didnt get any pictures of it for you. became sick over night so didnt fell like doing anything today will get one as soon as possible
