Angry 65 Olympique Removing Front Shaft and Bearings

I am attempting to remove the track from a 65 Olympique. Everything but the front shaft and bearings are out. I removed the bracket for the drive chain casing. The casing is one piece and connects directly to the shaft. How do I remove the drive chain casing and the bearing so I can remove the shaft / track? I do not want to break anything but the bearing seems to be pressed on the shaft. I am inclined to attempt prying the casing on the driven side to pull the bearing from the shaft. (No removable bearing "cup" on opposite side)

At wits end and afraid to break a very clean 45 year old machine!
