Question 670's on 583

Thinking about what i need to put a pair of 670 carbs on my Formula Z 583. Want to do it for a bit of power and just cause I like the general idea of having a modded sled. Would there be any difference in power, and would it increase the rish of detonation?? Also I think ill need a different set of boots for the carbs, am I right??

Without changing the pipe, rotary valve, and porting the gains of installing bigger carbs will be minimal, if any.

You won't get the airflow through the carbs needed to run efficiently. May even run worse than before.
