Last year for body style of the mxz. Come end this arguement!

What year was the last year for the old mxz sleds? My buddy says they made the 800 older style up until 04. I said it was 03. I've seen the newer style 600's in 03 and the older style 800's in 03. I've never seen the older style in any size in 04. Who is right???

Check out www.ski-doo.com - BRP Ski-Doo and look up the PREVIOUS MODELS by clicking on OWNER CENTER at the top of the page. All 2003 and 2004 models are shown.

2003 was the last year for the mxz style as the mxz rev in 2003 had the new body style which is what i ride. In 2004 all the sleds had the new body style

OK here's the real deal. You could find the older mxz chassis in 2003 and 2004, although in 2004 it was limited to only fan models. In 2003, even with the new Rev, you could still get the older chassis. 2002 and older there was no rev. That's MXZ only. In 2004 the Legend and Skandic were still on older chassis, as were some other models until recently. But to get a MXZ on the older chassis look from 2004 and older.

You are correct, there were still 3 models in the old chassis in 04.

Wasn't the 2003 release of the mxz rev billed as a 2003.5 model (mid season release)?

Has nothing to do with the question....but I was just curious.
