In the process of installing new idlers and bearings...

OK I have the rear axle completely out, and Im gonna replace all otside boogie wheels, and all ower boogie wheel bearings. I dunno when the last time theyve been changed last.
Heres my question, how hard is it to get the upper idler wheels out? It looks like you need to drop the suspension completely. Atleast the whole butt end of the suspension. Am I right? If so how do I do it?

OK I just got Idler wheels replaced, and what ones I had used again got brand spankin new bearings.
I had the rear axle out of it, and now im about ready to retension the track.
How do I realign the track? Or do you realign it while tensioning?
I was thinkin about tightening the bolts, and measuring the remainder of the bolt with Dial Calipers, to realign it. Will this work? And how tight do I need to get it?
Thanks any help will be great.

How I tighten it is I get the 10#s of weight on it, and adjust it until there is an even one inch on both sides. I then get the arse in the air and run it at different speeds and I watch the track move side to side and if it hugs one side more, I tighten that side up a little more. It's exactly like adjust the belt on a treadmill.

On the track itself... I use dumbbells on the track between the rails. You can also hang 10#s if you cannot find small enough weight.

A good rule of thumb is that when you tighten it the first time, measure the length of the tensioner bolts to ensure that they are even. This will make sure that the track is even to start with.
