Gears, Handlebars, Silencer/Can (07 500ss Adrenaline)

As of now I have a stock 2007 Mxz 500ss adrenaline. I'm looking to make some mods before this winter. I'm new to making mods on snowmobiles, but am somewhat of a gear-head when it comes to other motor vehicles. I do a lot of aggressive trail riding, and some powder riding.

Gears? I've heard changing the gears in a sled will give it more snap off the line just like any other gearing set up...but I didn't realize that sleds had gears. Any input on this would be great.

Handlebars: I would love to change my handle bars. I have a riser that may be coming off my dads Polaris Dragon that I may get my hands on. I'm wondering what kinds of parts I will need to change my current handlebar set up. What do you guys recommend? What will work?

Silencer/Can: Whats the difference? I'm looking for something that will definitely give a new tone, but won't be that much louder. I want something that is noticeably different than stock, but not obnoxiously loud.

any information or recommendations that you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance.

Not gears actually, but chain sprockets. Changing the ratio by only one tooth can make a noticeable difference.

Depending on the height of the riser, you may also need to have cable extensions to use it.

Before modifying the exhaust in any way, check on the laws in your state about this.
Many are now making it a heavy fine to have a modified exhaust for anything other than competition. Therefore, not recommended for trail use.
