Welcome to the forum!

You have limited control when the skis aren't on the snow. With a lot of the weight transferred to the track, it will be very difficult to accelerate out of the corners, as the skis will lift and the sled will lose the abillity to hold the corner. It may look cool, but will make you a LOT slower in the twisties. Fortunately, it's something you can easily try, and it's free.. give it a whirl to see if you like it. Testing is the key...
