should I fog?

I am rebuilding the top end on my sled this summer. Should I fog it this spring or just start it up every once and while until I tear it down? Also, after rebuild, should I fog it or just run it once and a while?

I am no expert but have got 2 strokes ready for summer/winter for years now. I simply pull the plug or plugs and use a baby medicine dropper to drop a small amount of the motul oil I use down each cyclinder. Then I like to pull it over slowly a few times to coat the cylinder with the oil. I have never had any problems with this method in 15yrs of doing it. They usually start much better compared to a fogged engine too.

Just my .02

I run my sleds every month or so, so I never fog them.
