01 summit 800 problems

sled seems to run fine at beginging of day then after playing in the powder for a couple hours and starting back down the trail a couple miles and it starts bogging out i bring it to a stop and let it set for a minute then it ok for half mile then starts doing it again. If i stop for half hour it runs great for awhile. It also seemed like it wasn't doing it when i was going down hill. I did put v-force 3 reeds in at the begining of the season would that be the cause.

Help i am baffled.

Did you put the air intake screens back in?
I'm guessing that you are getting snow into the intake.

I read on a forum that i need to change my pilot jets from the 17.5 to 20s since i put the v-force 3 reeds on. This will keep it from bogging.

Is this true?
