1/8 to 1/4 throttle engine makes differt noise

i have a 94 grandtouring 580 at 1/8 to 1/4 throttle it makes a louder vibration noise slower and faster it rus and sounds fine anybody have any ideas ? thank you

Could be the natural (harmonic) frequency of the exhaust springs or something of that type. Run a bead of pure silicon on each spring so it squeezes between the coils. I get an odd buzz/drone at exactly 4200 RPM in my F7.....still trying to nail that one down.

Check your drive belt for flat spots also if it's a vibration sensation.

i had hope that it was the belt i changed it 2 weeks ago it didn't make any dirrernt's could it be that it is to lean at that speed would make it sound like that? it just does that at around 5000-5500 rpm at hard throttle you never notise it

Is your airbox attached all the way? Being lean won't change the sound of the engine.

my airbox is on all the way i took apart the secondary pulley and the cam slider shoes were wore out comepletely so i don't know if that would make a noise or not ? thank you

That may do it. Your clutch needs a rebuild.
