throttle cable problems

the throttle cable has frayed and i am worried that if i continue to ride it will break. it has frayed right near the throttle trigger if i push the throttle i can see the fray. is there anyway that i can temporarily fix it. any suggestion are welcome. i just need a fix for like 1 day because if it breaks well i am out there i will make it back but only on 1 carb and piston. if there is any type of adhesive or clamp or anything please let me know.

There is no fix for that other than replacing the cable. And you probably won't make it back on one cylinder because one cable is for both carbs and the other cable goes directly to the oil pump on that Exciter. You need both to make it back any distance.
