1998 670 formula disaster

I was cruising about 60mph and engine suddenly shut down, almost like the electrical system failed. When I finally came to rest, I smelled hot rubber. I unhooked the cowl, and when I lifted it up, the engine compartment burst into flames. I was 7 miles from the nearest house, so the sled was totally consumed in 5 minutes. Other sledders commented that 3 other sleds of same year and make had recently done the same. Is there something I should have known from ski-doo?

Have you found out where the fire started? Electrical? Fuel? You need to try to find where it originated, then you might get some help from Ski Doo, etc.
