as some of you may have read,my sled had the ring thing last friday! well now as of yesterday everything was to be here. the pistons were supposed to be off backorder on feb20. well today they tell me "oh,sorry the pistons are on b/o until mar 5" WTF is up? will this keep happening till spring? they are giving me a sled for the weekend anyway so I still love my friendly neibourhood doo dealer

My guess is that they just order from another supplier who they don't know the inventory for. I'd guess if they gave you a loaner sled they are doing thier best to help you out. They probably just don't know any of the details about the stock their supplier has.

I am impressed, they gave me an 04 rengade x 800ho! I cant wait to try it! we just got 6in of fresh heavy snow tonight too. my dealer has been fantastic, I think part is because its a small dealer and I took both mach z's he gets this year.

no me city ha snot been a doo dealer since 2002. pines service in prince albert is my new home....LOL. they let me and dad take that elite twin track thing for a boot yesterday,it was a riot!!! too bad its 25000 bucks before tax!

hey freakshow, how was the ride on the 04?, we got a little more snow here now to, about 4 inches of the nice heavy stuff on friday, i haven't been out yet but i am planning to. Whenever i've had back order trouble i just phone all the dealer in the province till i find my part and have them ship it. Like my clutch that was backordered till march 15, 2 phone calls and i had a clutch the next day from battleford and shipping was only 12$. Most dealers will do what they can to find you one, i know the cat dealer in biggar does a lot of that, if they don't have a part, they find ya one, used or new. I know when we blew a crank on one of our 95 340's they were back ordered for like 3 months but he called around and hooked us up with a used one, which was nice, stupid 5 piece cranks are too much damn money

that 04 gade kicks some serious ass!!! its was in MPH and I had it effortlessly hitting 90 many times! I am going to try calling around for pistons monday. we got 8 in of snow in melfort!! we are good for a couple days now.
