Spark Plugs

I have a 1996 Mach Z bought it last friday. It runs real good, but I did foul one plug after I ran it out of fuel and had trouble re- starting. My question is what is the proper plug and gap for this sled? It has NGK BR9ES gaped at .028 I found some old plugs in the spair holders. They were BR10ES 's gaped to .018 any one know wich one I should use?

My 93 Z calls for BR9ES plugs. The 10's run hotter, so the previous owner may have had a fouling problem. You rejetted it' right? I'd stay with the 9's, gapped 28 to30.

I don't know what motor you have but I just went to the dealer and for a 583 they told me to use the 9's at .018. Don't know if that helps.

Thanks

Thanks for all the info. I went to my local dealer and was told to run 10's gapped at .018. 10's run cooler than 9's. 9's are gapped at .030 right out of the box 10's come gapped at .018.
