The engine light comes on right away usually within the first thirty seconds and stays on . Occasionally the temp light comes on usually within the first minute of riding and it shuts the engine down to the limp mode. Then I have to shut it off and restart it. When I first start the ride it will do this 2 or 3 times within the first minute then it's good, but as soon as the engine is shut off it starts the problem again.

Any thoughts?

Sensor problem, take it back and have the dealer fix it.
