I just purchased a new bombardier belt for my 95 MX 470. The one that i had on there already is in great shape, but going up to Mont Tremblant in a couple weeks and wanted to have a good one in the machine and a good spare as the spare i had was a little rough and some teeth missing...

i just installed it and fired up the sled and i noticed the track spinning on idle. is this normal with a new belt? (first time replacing it) the other belt i had on their did not spin while in idle... is this simply because the belt is worn in and has a little more flex then the new one?

You got it, won't do it with the track on the ground though.
