Temp Light Alwasy On???

hi after getting a few good rides in on my skidoo now ive seen that the temp light never goes out so i checked the coolant level that was fint the temp gauge says that tshe isnt running hot ans if you put your hand under and check the cooler with your hand she isnt running that hot and the you can feel the motor with your hand and that dosnt feel hot it feels warm but not hot enough to make a light to come on... anybody got some advice on where i should start looking and what i should do about it?

My mxz does the same once in a while. I have to pull the brake plunger out with some plyers and spray a touch of oil in there. The plunger that the brake lever pushes on, on the handle bars. It doesn't quite return the lever all the way. Try pushing your lever back to make sure that this is whats causing it. The light should go off when the brake lever is fully returned.

I just had to loosen mine up again tonight. I just spray some wd40 on that plunger and pull it out with a small pair of pliers. That fix usually lasts a month or so. My taillight does come on with the temp/brakelight on the dash when it acts up. They light up together on mine. I'm sure there is a better fix than spraying oil on it, but it's just my back up sled. By the way its for sale - freshly lubed brake cable plunger!
