dealer called today and my 800x is getting 2 pistons,cylinders and new rings! no head damage, the pistons were off backorder on feb 20 but the piston pin bearings are on freakin backorder!! I wanna ride this weekend! and I got the skinny on my mach z, in my area only 2 are coming to my dealer and we are getting both LOL! cant wait!

Rumor has it, Ski-Doo may be fessing up to the ring problem in the new SnowGoer issue. Yeah right....

Good luck on the back order. People were waiting 6+ weeks for parts from good ol' Bombardie. I'm still waiting for a accesorries plug. I've been told by the end of next week since Feb 2nd...

yeah Ive read alot about the backorder thing, I WILL have something to ride this weekend....they will see to it as they are great to me. they did not say a cause but said the rings were torn up pretty bad,flaking,etc.mine was just at 2000 miles almost exactally! my dad is afraid now because he is about 300 miles behind me on the same machine!
