1999 formula III 700 Tripple

I am havin issues with my formula III 700. When you are driving along slowly you can feel the sled jumping/buckin but once you give it a little more throttle, it goes away. There also seems to be a little noise coming from the clutch but you can't hear it (with the belt off) when you engaga/dis engage the clutch. Spinning the clutch freely there don't seem to be anything loose, there is no vibration in it so I am wondering if these issues are related. Please Help, very fustrated Thanks

i Have a similar issue.. on my 93 formula plus i went to replace the belt just because i thought the bottom end was getting a bit sluggish and it was the original belt so i got the new belt half on(i SUCK and truly HATE replacing belts) and i just truly could not get it on any further so i decided just to fire it up and figure i could walk the rest of the belt on by giving it a bit of throtle well yea its on and has AMAZING bottom end but at low speeds the clutch has a whine but goes away once i go a bit faster.. i figure its the belt because it did strech quite a bit, when the rear end of the sled is in air(on a stand) there is no noise.
maby you have a belt issue?

Connor.
