74 tnt 400 problem - top heavy
Well i have no issue with the sled, besides it really wants to rollover. doesnt matter what speed. im just wondering if it is just the sled or something is wrong with the front skis or another part.
thanks

The ski stance is quite narrow (36") you can put spreader plates on it to widen the stance and that will help.

Heh my 1980 Polaris was a danger to my health for that very reason. Could be a lot of fun at the same time though, they're light and easy to rock so you could really lean them over when you wanted to. Like RJ said a ski-widening kit or plates will widen out the stance and make it a lot more stable.
I felt safer on my 80 Polaris than this thing though... I think i'm just not used to it. The polaris was like an extension of my body, it did what I told it to do. This sled is big, heavy and wide and kind of does what it wants. I'll never forget the first time I tried picking it up to load it. The Polaris was like lifting a bag of salt. This was like trying to lift up my car.

spreaders...
pretty cool link... interesting... but close to not worth making when you can buy them for $19... by the time you get the press set up and stamps a pair out you'd want to make 100 pair...
neighbor's got a vintage doo that i've been eyeballing for a summer project...
anyone have pics with these installed?

my beater
Idk if you can really see them,i just welded them right to the leafspring because its really hard to drill holes in them. They did help alot though.

 pretty cool...
if you can in the next "whenever" days get a front shot so we can see the profile... not important but would be cool to see...
i like the welding idea also.. much easier!!
