Clutch noise possibly?

Hi fellas. I just picked up a 00 formula S 380 fan with 1100 miles and wanted to check with you guys on something before I hit tip-up town on Saturday. I've been over the sled as far as basics go and everything seems good. Had it out runnin in the street and again everything seems good. I did however notice a noise upon deceleration that I never noticed with my 99 formula SL 500 fan. It's kind of a tink, tink, tink, when I let off the throttle. Doesn't seem to affect anything and I noticed the clutch is different to what was on my other sled. It's definitely a stock clutch but doesn't look as heavy duty as my 500 had probably because of the lower power. I'm assuming this is normal but wanted to throw it past you guys before I get stranded. Thanks very much and hope you guys are out riding and not sittin in front of your computer like I am. By the way, It looks as if all the trails in Michigan are in good shape if anyone is making a trip.

I've never gone to tip up town. Maybe I'll try to do that this year. I'm up in Beulah. Look for a purple indy 600 xlt. I know, my wife is allready teasing me about it being purple, but I good a good deal. Maybe it'll be spraypainted black or camo by then!

I feel for ya man. Both my 99 and 00 are the same dark purple and when I bought my ninja it was part purple too. My sister said I looked like Prince in Puple Rain. I guess I've seen worse colors and it's growing on me now, but like you said, a deal is a deal. I haven't been to tip-up town in about 20-years and I was just a kid then. It's either there or hit Cadillac and avoid all the fuss. Thanks for the wisdom OCR.
