ski doo formula mach I xtc

i have a ski doo formula mach I xtc and it says it was manufactured in 1991 but i was wondering if it was a 1991 or 1992? also it does not run because the pull rope tension is too tight to pull start it and i was wondering if the bearings in the crankcase maybe bad or if it has a seized piston?

Also back in 2004 when it was last rode i was riding down the trail and the engine shut down completely maybe this will be enough to get opinion on whats wrong.

ok i did someone research and i now know that is a 1992 ski doo formula mach i xtc si that answers the first part of my question

it could be that you have bent your crank my buddy bent his the other day sled shut off and then it was really hard to pull over... but if your crank is bent you might want to find out what caused it another thing you could have burnt up a piston or even scored one of your cylinders, it could be berrings try this to see if its your top end or bottom thats the problem take off the belt and slowly try and turn the crank forward and backwards if the crand can turn a little bit forward and back the crank is probobly not your problem but the more play there is forward and back the more id lean towards connecting rod berrings or rings, if your crank dosnt have this little bit of forward and back play then its probobly your crank berrings or a bent crank... the only real way to tell your problem is to take the motor apart and see.
