widetrack man

I just bought a 2002 Skandic Widetrack 600 LC , excellent shape , 5000km on it . Great sled , plenty of power , good ride , excellent in powder . I have one thing going on that troubles me . This machine consumes an outragous amount of fuel. Is this normal for this sled . I have put about 80 km on this sled so far and have burned nearly a tank of gas ( 10 gal. tank ) . I have heard mention of the 2002's Skandic wt being the worst on gas but also heard that Bombardier changed the skandic wide track to cut back on gas . Is there any truth to this change , is there anyhting I can do to cut down on gas concumption . Someone please tell me that this problem can be fixed . Gas guzzler from Labrador . Wide Track man .
