Talking Fuel Lines

hey guys, just picked up an 96 FIII 600. I have rebuilt the engine, put it all in and hooked up except a few things.(got the sled already torn apart). I know the bigger fuel lines come from the fuel pump to each carb. One line comes in from the gas tank, and another comes from the fuel pump to the crank case. Is this all there is? Also the throttles. I have each throttle cable hooked up, same with the choke cables, but there is one extra one left over. It has a cable showing at the end. What is this for? Where does it hook up?
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Young guy just getting into sleds, first build of mine ever. Thanks for any help

That third cable probably goes to the oil pump.

Below the carbs, directly between them.

The last cable hooks to the oil pump, which can be found by following the line from the oil tank, it goes right to the pump. There is a lever on the pump that the cable goes to.

ok sounds good, I am pretty sure I can find that. Do I have to bleed it or anything before/after hooking it up? Also how do i get all those cables tight again at the throttle?

ok thanks guys have it all hooked up and she was ready to fire until I ran into another problem. Does the fuel tank have a filter in it? I have no fuel coming out of the tank because all the lines are dry. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem or easiest way?

Try making a good seal on the tank filler hole and blowing into the tank, this will force fuel up to the pump to help get it going.

Or the line is gone in the tank. You should hear bubbles, if not, time to pull the line out of the tank. It is amazing how many sleds I picked up and that was the only problem!
