Faster? maybe.

Better? Depends on what you're looking for. It's completely subjective.

I'm sticking to Yamaha.

At least Yamaha owners don't feel the need to pimp our favorite sleds in every other forum.

I'm glad Shawn wants to get a Mach Z 1000. I'm sure it's a great sled. Hopefully one of the Yamaha's passing by will be willing to tow him back to camp. j/k

Granted, Yamahas are great sleds, but try working on one! Good God, man! You need small Oriental hands to do ANYTHING to them!

yamahas dont break down! I had a 97 sx 700 and it had 10000 miles and I never did anything to it! just regular stuff like slides and such. I was always doo but thought I would try one,my dealer went tits up so I went back to doo in 2000 with a millenium mach z and then a rev now the rest is history. I would like to try an rx1 sometime but now that I have a rev I think I will stay! I would quit riding though if i had to be on a poo or cat.
